Plant Operator​/Labourer

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Regular overtime available. Typically 10-hour days with every second Saturday required.

Rate of Pay: £12.98 per hour

• Operating 360 excavators, wheeled loading shovels and telehandlers safely and efficiently
• Supporting the operation of the wood shredder as part of a team environment
• Full training will be provided for the wood shredder operation.
• Carrying out routine plant checks and reporting any defects promptly
• Assisting with general site duties and labouring tasks as required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and safe site operations
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

• Experience operating 360 machines, wheeled loading shovels and telehandlers
• Valid plant tickets preferred, although recently expired tickets will be considered
• A strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Commitment to working safely and supporting wider site duties when required
• Flexibility to work overtime and alternate Saturdays
