Panel Beater

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our Bodyshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of vehicles to manufacturer standards using specialized tools and techniques. This role requires precision, a strong eye for detail, and a deep understanding of vehicle structures.

* Responsibilities:
* * Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.

* Remove damaged vehicle panels and components using mechanical and electrical tools.

* Repair or replace panels using welding, riveting, and bonding techniques.

* Fill, sand, and smooth repaired surfaces in preparation for painting.

* Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

* Work closely with painters, mechanics, and other team members.

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

* Requirements:
* * Proven experience as a Panel Beater (4+ years preferred).

* In-depth knowledge of body repair tools, materials, and techniques.

* Competency in welding and frame straightening.

* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

* Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

* Good physical condition and manual dexterity.

* Valid driver’s license.

* Trade certification or relevant qualification is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
