4 Day Week (37 hour p/w contract)

We are currently seeking an Electrician for a commercial/ industrial maintenance contract based in West Kilbride. We are looking for someone to undertake electrical works within an industrial site in an efficient and safe manner, with repairs undertaken as appropriate. This will mean ensuring that all planned maintenance is carried out in line with its scheduled date, and that Health & Safety policies are adhered to.

The position is 37 hours a week Monday to Thursday, however overtime is often available over shut down periods on Fridays and weekend paid at an enhanced rate.

Main Duties:

Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
Monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment.
Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
Undertake electrical inspection and testing as planned.
Undertake electrical project/installation work as appropriate.
Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
Understand and comply with policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:

Approved Electrician with CSCS/ ECS Gold card
18th Edition
Testing & Inspection. (desirable)
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Able to work at height
Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation

Experience with in Commercial/Industrial Maintenance
Able to pass Basic DBS/Disclosure check Please apply with your CV today.
