The company specializes in potable water services for events and utilities industries, heavy haulage, lorry‑mounted crane services, and abnormal load escorting. They also provide TASCC registered bulk haulage, vacuum tanker, and specialist jetting services, as well as general haulage solutions. The dedicated team operates 24/7, 365 days a year, to deliver reliable and efficient support to meet customer needs during critical times.

This is a full‑time, on‑site Mechanic role based in Alford. The Mechanic will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on our own fleet of HGV vehicles and equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing repairs to ensure safe and optimal operation. The role involves working with heavy equipment and addressing complex technical challenges as they arise, requiring attention to detail and technical expertise.

The Mechanic will work closely with the team to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

• Skills in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair to ensure optimal functionality of equipment
• surprisingly heavy equipment, including repairs and management
• Expertise in Troubleshooting to diagnose and address mechanical issues efficiently
• Strong problem‑solving skills and technical knowledge of vehicle systems and equipment
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or automotive repair are advantageous
• Previous experience in the haulage or transport industry is a plus
• IRTEC qualification desirable however training will be provided for the correct candidate.
• HGV licence (not essential)
