CPCS.NPORS Machine Operator; Peat Ground

Teamforce Labour is currently seeking experienced 360 Machine Operators for a large Infrastructure project in the Banniskirk area of the Scottish Highlands
. This position is suited to individuals with proven experience operating on peat or soft ground conditions
, who can manage machinery safely and effectively in challenging terrain. You will be required to operate tracked 360 machines for excavation, grading, and trenching works, with a focus on stability and environmental sensitivity in areas of deep peat and soft subsoil.

• Operate 360 excavators (above and below 10T) in line with health & safety standards
• Conduct excavation, back filling, grading and trench work on peat-based terrain
• Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Safely manoeuvre plant on unstable ground
• Follow ground worker and supervisor instructions precisely
• Work with site team to manage drainage and prevent bogging
• Maintain awareness of environmental restrictions in peatland zones

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (above and/or below 10T)
• Previous experience operating machinery on peat or soft ground (essential)
• Full PPE
• Excellent awareness of machine stability and ground conditions
• References to validate peat/soft ground experience

• Lifting Operations endorsement (A59C or equivalent)
• Confined spaces or deep drainage experience

• Local candidates preferred due to remote location
• Accommodation can be provided
• You will be required to work on a shift patten, e.g 14 days on, 5 days off.
• Two days travel to & from the project will be paid
• Must be reliable and self-sufficient in rural working environments
