Carpenter/Handyman
Location: Swindon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until March 2026 (with potential for temp-to-perm)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Handyman to join our clients team in Swindon. This role will involve working with a social housing contractor to complete a variety of tasks across residential properties, including new builds, refurbishments, and general maintenance.
As a Carpenter/Handyman, you will be responsible for tasks such as general maintenance, door undercuts, installing trickle vents into UPVC windows, and blocking up vents.
Key Responsibilities:Carrying out door undercuts
Installing trickle vents into UPVC windows
Blocking up vents
- General maintenance work
NVQ in Carpentry
Basic DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
CSCS Card
Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain)
