35 hours per week About the role Join our friendly, fast-moving Facilities team at Scouts HQ and play a vital role in keeping our buildings and estates safe, compliant and ready for adventure. Your work will directly support thousands of young people to enjoy life-changing experiences every year. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Facilities Technician with a strong electrical background who enjoys variety, problem-solving and hands-on work.
From electrical fault-finding to planned maintenance and compliance checks, you'll help keep our sites running smoothly and safely. What you'll be doing Delivering electrical maintenance, testing and fault diagnosis across our sites Supporting general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating Managing and prioritising work via our CAFM system Ensuring all work meets health, safety and compliance standards Working collaboratively with contractors and supporting estates projects and upgrades What you'll bring Experience working with electrical systems (single and three phase, SWA, BS 7671) A solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and building maintenance A proactive, team-focused approach with strong initiative Confidence using digital systems and interpreting technical documentation Physical capability to work outdoors and at height Relevant certifications, such as 18th Edition or Part P, or willingness to work towards them Why join us?
