Location:

Mithras Halls of Residence, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 4QX.
This is a permanent part‑time role working 24 hours per week. Salary: £18,328.00 per annum plus a benefits package.

Saturday and Sunday, 7 am‑7 pm.

The Security Supervisor leads the security team, ensuring the safety and security of the Mithras Halls student accommodation campus with 804 residents. Key duties include:

• Managing guard shifts, patrols and protection of the campus buildings in accordance with assignment instructions.
• Overseeing the overall security integrity of the site.

• SIA / CCTV licence
• Excellent knowledge and working experience in a high‑profile security or customer‑focused environment
• High‑level client/customer focus, representing the company professionally and discreetly
• Knowledge of public safety and security
• Ability to work with confidential and classified information
• Knowledge of standard security and safety protocols
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork ability and positive attitude
• Quick thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in high‑pressure environments
• Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Personal presentation to ambitious standards
• First aid certification
• Evidence of the right to work in the UK
