Weekend Security Supervisor
Location:
Mithras Halls of Residence, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 4QX.
This is a permanent part‑time role working 24 hours per week. Salary: £18,328.00 per annum plus a benefits package.
Saturday and Sunday, 7 am‑7 pm.
ResponsibilitiesThe Security Supervisor leads the security team, ensuring the safety and security of the Mithras Halls student accommodation campus with 804 residents. Key duties include:
- Managing guard shifts, patrols and protection of the campus buildings in accordance with assignment instructions.
- Overseeing the overall security integrity of the site.

- Excellent knowledge and working experience in a high‑profile security or customer‑focused environment

- Knowledge of public safety and security

- Knowledge of standard security and safety protocols
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork ability and positive attitude
- Quick thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in high‑pressure environments
- Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
- Personal presentation to ambitious standards
- First aid certification
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK
