Position: Senior Analytical Scientist (Permanent)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a driven and innovative scientist looking to make a significant impact in the field of vaccine development? Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist to join their team based in Oxfordshire. As the Senior Analytical Scientist, you will be at the forefront of generating and implementing novel ideas to resolve complex analytical problems, ensuring high-quality analysis to support a variety of technically challenging projects.

KEY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Analytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Research and implement innovative methods to overcome technical challenges in biochemical analysis of solid dose vaccines.

2. Develop and optimise new methods for analysing novel solid dose vaccine formulations, ensuring their suitability through appropriate studies.

3. Perform routine analysis, record data accurately, and peer review analysis records to maintain data integrity and quality standards.

4. Lead and collaborate on projects, ensuring all analytical readiness activities are executed to generate quality data and achieve project goals.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Analytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in biological sciences or proven industry experience in a laboratory-based analytical position.

2. Proven experience in troubleshooting, optimising, and developing complex methods for biomolecules such as ELISA, HPLC, and transfection.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with leading and training team members, ensuring high standards in analytical, health and safety, and lab operations.
