White Horse is working exclusively with a long-standing client, who is a leading technology solutions provider supporting key sectors across the UK.
Our Client is looking for 3 ambitious and proactive Account Manager / Business Development Managers to drive growth
Locations:
Manchester and surrounding x1 Role
Isle of Man x1 Role
What You’ll Be Doing- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your sectors.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Use a consultative approach to understand client challenges and position tailored solutions.
- Work closely with marketing and business development teams on proposals, pitches, and presentations.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently hit or exceed sales targets.
- This is a 60% Account Manager, 40% Business Development role
- 3–5 years’ experience in consultative sales, ideally in IT solutions, software, or technology services.
- Proven track record of winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of technology solutions for the public sector or regulated industries.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Bid Experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Resilient and adaptable to change.
- Builds strong relationships internally and externally.

Occasional travel to other offices, industry events, and client sites will be required, sometimes involving overnight stays.
