Location:

Tamworth (Office-based with field sales)
Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped OTE of approx £40,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

An established and growing business is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive new business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a target-driven B2B sales professional with strong new business development experience, who also enjoys developing and growing existing client relationships.

The role offers a mix of office-based sales activity and field-based client meetings, supported by modern CRM systems and nationwide fulfilment capabilities. With ambitious growth plans in place, this position offers genuine long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, client visits, and digital outreach (e.g. Linked In)

* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximise retention and repeat business

* Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations

* Close sales and successfully onboard new clients

* Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM systems

* Analyse sales data to identify growth and upselling opportunities

* Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets

* Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets to maximise commission

* Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience in B2B business development and cold calling

* Demonstrable ability to generate and convert new business

* Background in workwear, clothing, or product-based sales is advantageous

* Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
