Sales Consultant – Newton Mearns (Part Time)

Salary: £DOE

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, confident, and outgoing Weekend Sales Consultant to join our Newton Mearns team. This role is central to the smooth running of the branch over weekends, taking ownership of sales activity and client engagement during one of our busiest periods. You will need a friendly and professional telephone manner, strong attention to detail, and the ability to self-motivate.

The workload will be varied, so a flexible approach is essential, and like every customer-focused business, there will be deadlines to meet and moments of pressure. If you can stay organised, calm, and focused, you will fit right in.

What will I do?

In this role, you will take ownership of weekend sales duties, acting as a key point of contact for buyers and sellers. You will handle enquiries, coordinate viewings, and offer clear and helpful guidance throughout the client journey. Working closely with a highly efficient sales team, you will support ongoing sales activity and contribute to the wider success of the Newton Mearns branch.

Alongside day-to-day client interaction, you will handle essential administrative tasks and assist with lead generation and research. Building strong client profiles is a key part of the role, ensuring the team has a full understanding of each customer’s needs and can offer the highest level of service.

The Skills

To succeed in this position, you must be passionate, driven, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. You should be confident thinking creatively and bringing new ideas forward, while also demonstrating strong written communication and solid computer literacy.

A positive, supportive attitude is essential. We are an enthusiastic team and expect everyone to play their part. Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues. We value proactive people who take initiative, ask questions, and avoid assumptions. As the role involves managing multiple tasks, it is important that you are comfortable working to deadlines and maintaining high standards even during busy periods.
