Location: Swindon

Hours - Monday to Friday 9.00 - 6.00 working 2 in every 4 weekends including Saturday and Sunday. Role Overview

As an Oak Furniture land ambassador, the Telesales Advisor delivers exceptional service by handling inbound enquiries, discussing existing orders or making outbound calls to warm leads, consistently bringing our unique products and services to life while positively representing our brand.

About

The Role Core Responsibilities
  • Provide all customers with an exceptional customer experience by sharing their expert knowledge of Oak Furniture land's extensive product ranges and services.
  • Answer all inbound phone calls in a positive and engaging manner whilst managing individual diaries to follow up on potential leads.
  • Utilise our in-house database to make outbound calls, contact potential loss leads, and overcome objections to purchasing.
  • Follow the Telesales Sales Script to make recommendations based on customer needs, supporting the right purchasing decisions to be made.
  • Contributes towards improving Oak Furniture land’s customer satisfaction scores, including Net Promoter Score and Trust Pilot ratings, increasing customer loyalty and brand perception, influencing repeat business and new sales opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales and performance KPIs and targets, supporting the overall Telesales Team in achieving outstanding business performance collectively.
  • Adopting a one-team approach by working closely with the Telesales Managers to create an inclusive team culture aligned with our purpose and values and always displaying our expected behaviours.
  • Positively engage with Partnering 4 Performance, enabling the shaping of personal objectives and robust development plans that support both individual and business growth plans.
  • Deliver business and Telesales ways of working, always adhering to Oak Furniture land processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Remain up-to-date and commercially aware of internal and external factors that may impact business trade and customer experience.
  • Utilise all training materials and business communications to keep knowledge of Oak Furniture land products and services up to date, enhancing both personal and business sales performance.
  • Using Oak Furniture land systems, ensure all customer information is processed compliantly, efficiently, and correctly, following all procedures and policies.
Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience working in a customer centre, ideally within a sales environment.
  • Knowledge of using scripts and following strict processes and procedures, enabling achievement of personal and team targets.
  • Highly skilled at questioning and listening techniques, adopting a persuasive communication style with the ability to influence, generate, and build positive relationships.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working within successful high-performing teams.
  • Understand the link between customer experience and key metrics such as NPS, Trust Pilot, repeat business, and new sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge and awareness of purchasing motivations and the internal and external factors that could purchasing decisions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

£25,937 per annum.
