Account Manager - Nu-Heat Underfloor Heating & Renewables
Nu‑Heat is a leading provider of underfloor heating solutions in the UK, founded in 1992 and now part of Genuit Group’s Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit. We are seeking passionate Account Managers (x3 vacancies) to manage and grow our trade and new business customer base.
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm. Working style:
Hybrid – Honiton, Devon, UK.
- Customer conversion.
- Develop trade customers of all levels through clear ownership and account management, providing tailored service profiles to facilitate business growth at appropriate pricing and margin levels.
- Retention:
Identify customers at risk of not retaining, understand why they didn’t purchase, and secure new project quotes to encourage repeat ordering. - Contribute to company development by improving customer satisfaction, answering calls quickly, participating in meetings, and providing feedback for improvement.
- Lead to prospect conversion:
Qualify leads to ensure understanding of timescales, value and potential future business. - Prospect to customer conversion:
Follow up projects to agreed SLA to maximise sales opportunities. - Follow up lapsed customers and unsuccessfully quoted trade prospects to understand why they didn’t purchase and obtain new project quotes.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a confident, driven team player with a high level of focus and motivation in sales. You should consistently deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate commercial awareness, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Nu‑Heat products, competitor offerings, and relevant legislation in the renewable and underfloor heating market.
- Account management and business development experience is desirable.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and tailor communication style to suit the audience.
- Effective telephone communication skills.
- Strong prioritisation and workload management to ensure high levels of efficiency and productivity.
- High IT literacy.
- Target driven and resourceful.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Independent self‑starter, able to work in a cross‑functional team environment.
- HV industry knowledge is desirable.
