The role of the Area Sales Manager Generator Hire will involve:

• Field sales role selling generator hire
• Selling into main contractors, electrical contractors and specialist event and film companies
• Sales target between £1m-£2m
• Generator sizes mainly 20kVA-500kVA
• Majority of the time on the road in front of customers
• Tropical customers include hospitals, factories, distributors (where power back-up is essential)
• Selling the hire of large generators
• Leveraging your own network of contacts within the power industry

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Generator Hire with:

• 3 years+ field sales experience
• Must come from and have a network of contacts within the generator power industry selling generators 20kVA-500kVA
• Generator hire experience/ working for a competitor
• Strong negotiating skills
• Competitive nature
• Experience of managing a multi-site organisation
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
