We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and store property, while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Monitor store activities to prevent theft, loss, and damage
- Provide a visible security presence within the store
- Conduct regular patrols and ensure store policies are followed
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns promptly
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with store management and staff
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
- Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
- Previous retail security experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
