Pay: £13.99 per hour
Contract:
30‑39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, weekends – will be discussed e also includes work in the in‑store bakery.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co‑op, as you'll need to authorise age‑related sales.
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co‑op.

What you’ll do- Deliver friendly, thoughtful service every day, often working in the in‑store bakery and taking ownership of store operations and challenging situations.
- Develop your team’s capabilities through coaching, training and fostering an inclusive culture that values everyone’s voice.
- Ensure the store remains safe, legal and fully operational.
- Maintain diligence checks and stock accuracy to give customers a great shopping experience.
- Support the store manager by deputising when they’re not working and by delivering a variety of HR processes.
- Lead the introduction of new products and services, working closely with the team to implement change and encourage open, honest feedback.
- Build relationships and get involved in the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co‑op community plan.
- A genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- The ability to balance leadership duties with on‑floor work.
- Great people skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Desire to learn, grow and develop leadership skills.
