Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye‑catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?
You will be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands in the Tesco Cleethorpes DN35 9QR
area. You will be responsible for ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well‑stocked.
- Wednesdays – 5.5 hours during store opening hours (start time is flexible)
- To cover:
- Tesco Cleethorpes DN35 – 3.5 hours
- Tesco Express Grimsby Yarborough DN34 – 1 hour
- Tesco Grimsby Road Express DN35 – 1 hour
Plus ad‑hoc work as agreed.
This role is for a new client with work starting from 1 March 2026. You will be provided with a full induction beforehand.
How You’ll Deliver Excellence- Compliance and Standards – Know and stick to merchandising standards, store policies and procedures, and health & safety guidance.
- Product Placement and Replenishment – Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point‑of‑Sale Setup – Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
- Strong communication and relationship building – Build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, especially department and store managers.
- Accurate and timely feedback – Provide feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application.
- Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions
- Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
- Comfortable with manual handling – you will move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shop floor
- Willing to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (you’ll be paid extra)
- Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required
