We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our Care Home team at Cysgod y Gaer, Corwen. Cysgod y Gaer aims to provide high quality needs-led residential and respite care to support older people in the Corwen area and their carers.

Working in a care home as an Assistant Cook can be quite different to some other catering positions; the hours are more sociable, and you have the opportunity to get to know the individuals.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a high standard of meal provision for Cysgod y Gaer residents, whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety as per procedures and HACCP at all times.

• Provide a high standard of meal provision for residents, maintaining high standards of food safety in line with procedures and HACCP at all times.
• Work within the care home team to support residents and adapt preparation to individual needs where appropriate.
