Job Description

The St Tudwals, in the heart of the busy tourist destination village of Abersoch, was fully refurbished the beginning of last year and has been transformed into a beautiful venue. It's a very busy public house. We need an enthusiastic, experienced person to come and join our wonderful kitchen team to deliver an exciting concise menu at pace.

You will be able to:
- Assisting in the day to day running of the kitchen
- Delivering quality service
- Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction
- Food hygiene and health and safety knowledge and certificates
- Ability to assist in menu design and creation
- Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work
- You must be reliable and punctual
While previous experience would be valued, a great attitude and approach to this role is enough as full training and support will be provided.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure the kitchen is tidy, clean and hygienic at all times
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear uniform as per company policy
- Assist in preparation of food as required by the Chef
- Undertake the cleaning schedule as per Food Safety Manual
- Ensure surfaces on all units are cleared of all used crockery and cutlery after meals and returned to the kitchen for washing
- Check sub-kitchens daily and replenish supplies as required
- At the end of each shift ensure cleaning schedules have been undertaken and cleaning forms signed
- Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy. All bins to be emptied at the end of each shift
- Undertake statutory training as directed by the Chef
- Restaurant Kitchen: 3 years (required)
