We are seeking an aspiring, committed and ambitious
Chef de Partie,to join our Strathearn Culinary team.

A room with more than a touch of magic, The Strathearn was the original restaurant from the hotel’s opening in 1924. Not much has changed in over a century, with candlelight and live piano music setting the scene for a menu of modern Scottish fine dining fare.

The on target earning potential for this role is £41,956 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £36,956, based on a 46 hour contract, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities:
Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).

• Bringing delicious flavours to our guests’ tables, running a section in our busy kitchen
• Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high
• Supporting our Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we’re always looking to come up with new, delicious combinations of taste
• Nurturing and developing the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• You pride yourself in having excellent time management skills; consistently organising your work efficiently and effectively
• Confident and assured working alone, you’re also a fantastic team player
• Methodical in your approach, you have the ability to adapt and react to any situation

• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
