Specification & Data Management Specialist - Europe Foods (R&D)

Leicester UK | Full-Time
Join Pepsi Co R&D and play a key role in bringing Europe's most loved food brands to life. In this role, your work directly impacts every product that hits the shelf. You'll sit at the heart of innovation, data accuracy, and sustainability - shaping products enjoyed by millions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own and manage product specifications (ingredient, formula, label, finished goods).
- Digitise and update technical data to support new product launches.
- Run SAP specification workflows and keep data accurate, clean, and audited.
- Partner with Product Development, TDC, Commercialisation & Supply Chain to keep projects moving.
- Enable accurate BOM setup and help ensure full traceability for manufacturing.
- Support sustainability goals (PEP+) by embedding design and ingredient changes into specifications.
- Prepare and maintain data required for BRC/GFSI compliance to keep products on shelves.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to R&D digital transformation.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for quality data.
- Experience with SAP, PLM, or other specification systems (or strong learning agility).
- Background in food science, chemistry, QA/QC, regulatory, or product development (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Confident communicator who enjoys cross‑functional and multicultural teamwork.
- Solid English skills (written & verbal) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
