Quality Coordinator

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and managing subcontractor activities from start to finish
• Carrying out quality inspections and sign off checks using PDI standards
• Approving suppliers and maintaining up to date contractor agreements
• Managing permit to work processes and reviewing detailed work plans
• Producing performance reports and maintaining contractor league tables
• Overseeing training and approval for contractor engineers
• Conducting off site quality checks and ensuring technical compliance

Requirements:

• Experience in subcontractor coordination, supplier management, or quality focused roles
• Strong background in quality control and inspection processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent organisation, communication, and problem solving skills
• Confident using contractor management systems and Microsoft Office
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering/Manufacturing
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
• HGV licence
