Animal Care Assistant

Overview

We are hiring! Here at Kingston Vets, we are on the lookout for an Animal Care Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate may be required to work at any of our six sites. Experience with in the veterinary, animal care or similar industry would be an advantage.

• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons and RVN’s with patients and adhering to the patient’s needs.
• Manual handling and caring for animals with empathy and compassion.
• Focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the practice.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
• Running laboratory tests and packaging samples.

• 4 x 10 hour shifts per week Mon-Sat.
• Shifts 8am-6pm and 10am-8pm on a rota basis.

The group offer a variety of referral services. The group have a fantastic and hardworking team of 19 committed veterinary surgeons, dedicated RVN's and a friendly, enthusiastic, support team.

Vets Now Emergency work out of our Park Street site meaning that there is no need to transfer hospitalised patients between sites. Salary:
