We are looking for a Cultivation Operative to join our UK Leaf Farming team. This role is essential in preparing land for sowing salad and herb crops, ensuring high standards of cultivation and machinery maintenance.

• Carry out soil preparation for sowing, including subsoiling and bed forming operations.
• Perform proactive maintenance and necessary repairs on tractors and cultivation equipment. Report any issues promptly to your line manager.
• Support general farm duties during quieter periods, including crop mowing, strimming, and netting.
• Operate large tractors on public roads safely and competently.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety and operating procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.

• Farm-based role, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically demanding tasks requiring attention to detail with machinery.
• Seasonal and weather-dependent work requiring flexibility and willingness to work long hours when necessary.

Experience &

Skills:

• Valid driving licence (including tractor driving).
• Competent tractor driver with experience in cultivation operations.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks.
• Good level of spoken English for Health & Safety communication.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
