Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) Central and Wessex region are looking for a dynamic, organised and efficient Band 5 Nurse to work within our Primary Health Care team at Larkhill Medical Centre. The role offers full‑time hours of 37.5 hrs per week.

The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team (MDT) delivering primary‑care nursing, including elements of occupational health. The role involves working with the Senior Practice Nurse or Senior Medical Officer and, depending on qualifications and experience, will be responsible for the delivery of appropriate assessment, treatment, screening and advice to patients within their professional competence and in accordance with DPHC clinical guidelines and protocols.

Person Specification Registrations and Memberships- Registered Nurse on sub‑Part 1 (RN1/RN(A)) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.

Have you been dismissed for gross misconduct relating to bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation from any role in the past five years, or resigned or left a role but would have been dismissed for such conduct had you continued?
- Professional/clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level.
- Must be in date for Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, Automated External Defibrillation (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Safeguarding Level 3, or be willing to undertake training.
