The Role:

We have a vibrant Practice Nurse opportunity with a friendly medical group in Annan, offering a supportive team environment and the chance to specialise in Diabetes and Respiratory care. With a mix of telephone triage and face-to-face appointments, this role is perfect for someone passionate about patient care. Enjoy being part of a well-knit team with daily coffee catch-ups and a lively atmosphere.

• Contract for an initial 6 months, with potential to extend up to 9 months.
• Competitive salary based on your qualifications and experience.
• 24-hour workweek with fixed shifts on Wednesday to Friday.
• Opportunities to pursue special interests and enhance patient care.

• Lead nurse-led management of Diabetes and Respiratory Disease.
• Perform telephone triage and conduct face-to-face consultations.
• Run smear clinics, utilizing your SCCRS training if available.
• Collaborate with an MDT including GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Participate in practice meetings and contribute to team culture.
• Must have a nursing qualification with experience in primary care.
