PositionAn opportunity has arisen for 1x Special Care Dental Nurse at Lamlash, Isle of Arran.
What you will doWe require a motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work well within the team. You will be required to provide full chair side assistance to the clinician, carry out dental reception duties and decontamination duties within the Local Decontamination Units & within the dental surgery.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the jobYou must be registered with the General Dental Council and hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing or Oral Health Care Dental Nursing SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have a current portfolio of Continuing Professional Development.
Current and relevant chair side experience is essential.
You should have excellent organisational skills, be highly motivated, and be able to priorities workload, have excellent communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Experience and knowledge of dental software packages is desirable.
HoursA minimum 22.2 hours up to 29.6 hours per week; days and hours can be confirmed at interview.
UK Driving Licence/Car OwnershipFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
