Join The Hub @ Toothill CIC as a volunteer Community Events Officer to help bring The Hub @ Toothill to life by organising key fundraising events that will support our launch campaign to raise 20k of working capital funding.

What difference will you make?

Your contribution will directly support our fundraising campaign to open our amazing space at The Hub  creating engaging, well‑organised events, you’ll help us connect with the community, raise vital funds, and build excitement for our official launch in May/June 2026.

What are we looking for?
  • Experience in event planning or coordination, ideally for community or fundraising events.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with volunteers and engage the local community.
  • Creativity, flexibility, and problem‑solving skills.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of budgeting, risk assessment, or marketing for events.

What will you be doing? Description

The Hub @ Toothill CIC is creating a vibrant, inclusive community space, and we are looking for a short‑term or long‑term Events Officer volunteer to plan and deliver fundraising and engagement events. You will play a key role in making our events enjoyable, well‑organised, and impactful, helping raise funds and awareness ahead of our proposed official launch at the end of May.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, and coordinate fundraising events, including at least two additional pre‑launch events.
  • Liaise with volunteers, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Support marketing and promotion of events through social media, newsletters, and local networks.
  • Ensure events run safely and comply with relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Track event outcomes and provide feedback to the team.
