About the Role

Are you passionate about improving men’s health and wellbeing and bringing communities together? Haslingden Community Link (HCL) is looking for a dynamic, community-focused Men’s Shed Project Coordinator to develop, promote and deliver a range of activities that make a real difference in the lives of local men. The Men’s Shed project provides a safe, welcoming space for men to connect, learn new skills, share experiences and support each other.

In this role, you’ll lead the growth and sustainability of the project — from hands‑on facilitation of activities to building strong partnerships and securing funding to ensure long‑term success.

About You
  • A strong communicator and natural relationship builder.
  • Passionate about community engagement and improving men’s wellbeing.
  • Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident in planning, promoting, and delivering community activities.
  • Experienced in partnership working, volunteer coordination, and/or project management.
  • Able to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
Experience and Advantage

Experience in community development, health and wellbeing projects, or similar roles would be an advantage.
