We are seeking a dedicated
Dye House Operative to join our team based in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing chemicals, processing batches through dye vessels, and ensuring that each batch is dyed to the specified shade, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. You will work proactively to follow Standard Operational Procedures, record accurate data, and inspect hides during processing to meet customer expectations.
An essential part of your responsibilities involves adhering to health and safety standards and contributing to our 'Zero Tolerance' H&S initiatives. Collaboration with production team members and supervisors will be key to delivering high-quality outputs that uphold our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
To be successful you will need:
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to health and safety
- Effective communication skills across all levels of staff
- Ability to meet production targets consistently
- Reliable, dedicated, and able to work well in a team environment
