Monday to Friday Double Days (6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm)
£43,000 + 5% Bonus

A well-established manufacturing company based in Cardiff is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with significant investment and site improvements planned. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering team.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing equipment across the site. The position is multi‑skilled, requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment as part of site investment
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Both electrical and mechanical knowledge (multi‑skilled)
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive and team‑focused attitude
