Job description

We are opening doors to motivated candidates who are able to commit to a position including .

• Weekdays: 05:30 – 15:00 (occasional late finish)
• Weekends: ~05:30 – 13:00

Colston Bassett Dairy is an established pride of Britain product founded in 1913. We provide cheese to countries around the world. Our staff create some of the finest awarding‑winning cheese the UK has to offer and we continue to make our cheese in the traditional way by hand.

• Cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
• Manual handling (heavy lifting of 10-25kg involved)
• Mixing, rubbing, turning cheese
• Further duties offered as you develop an understanding of how cheese is made

• A hard‑working, self‑motivated individual
• Excellent time management
• Good communication skills
• Experience in food manufacturing not necessary, but a plus
• Knowledge of food safety and Health & Safety practices is a plus
• The ability to perform the essential physical functions of this role is a core requirement

Own vehicle essential due to location and lack of public transport.
