Mechanical Technician

Position: Mechanical Technician (Permanent)
Location: Welburn

Benefits for the Mechanical Technician include:
37 hours per week - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
5% pension
Overtime - time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked

Duties for the Mechanical Technician include:

- * Assemble mechanical/hydraulic components, subassemblies and assemblies.

* Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products

* Manufacture and testing of hydraulic hoses and pipe work.

* Assembly, proof pressure, setup and function testing of wide range of subassemblies and tooling.

* Interface with other departments to ensure high standards are maintained and project deadlines are met.

* Complete all necessary documentation, (including quality requirements, timesheets, NCR’s ECN…etc.).
Experience needed for role of Mechanical Technician:

- • Ideally suited to an automotive mechanic background.

• Understanding of Mechanical assembly and practice.

• Shop floor Mechanical apprentice background preferred.
