Production Line Leader

Please note:

Due to the limited public transport options to the client's location, own transport is essential for this role . While the site can be reached via train to Canterbury and a bus to Chartham followed by a 20-minute walk, this is not practical for daily commuting. As a Production Line Leader, you will need to have:
Good communication and leadership skills A good level of English (written and verbal) Good understanding of basic Maths Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (Desirable) Previous experience in a similar role within the fruit or food production industry Details:
Salary:
Based on experience from £13.45 - £15.27 per hour

Working Hours:

5 days out of 7 and 12-hour shifts. Rota is 5 on 2 off. Same every week. Full time

Ongoing Role of a Production Line Leader :
Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the packing line, ensuring all Compliance, Health & Safety, and Hygiene rules are followed Set up and prepare the line, checking fruit, packaging, and labels meet job specifications Train and supervise packers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to quality standards Complete all paperwork accurately and report progress or issues to the Packhouse Manager Maintain line cleanliness and return unused packaging to the correct department
