Production Supervisor

A competitive salary and fantastic benefits package are available for the perfect candidate. Standard hours are 07:00 to 16:30 with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday, although flexibility at a management level is expected.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for a dedicated area within the site, ensuring that production output runs efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of machinery or an interest in mechanics would be advantageous. The role involves a degree of manual handling, lifting, bending and twisting. You will be the first contact for a team of Production Operators.

• Ensuring the team is working effectively and efficiently
• Ensuring good housekeeping of the work area
• Operating saw milling machinery
• Making sure that all Health, Safety and Quality standards and instructions are understood and being followed
• Operation of Mobile Plant Vehicles
• Ability to resolve low-level issues confidently

• Able to steer a team to achieve production goals and meet required standards
• Have worked in a supervisory capacity previously
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Have experience working in a manufacturing/construction environment
