Hygiene Team Leader

Position: Hygiene Team Leader (Permanent)
Location: Mamhilad

As the Hygiene Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing hygiene operatives on shift, ensuring cleaning schedules are delivered effectively, and that the site consistently meets food safety, audit, and customer standards.

The successful Hygiene Team Leader will be a confident communicator with strong people-management skills, capable of setting standards, leading by example, and working closely with production and technical teams to minimise risk and downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and supervising the hygiene team on shift

* Ensuring all cleaning activities meet food safety and hygiene standards

* Supporting audits (BRC, customer, internal) and compliance requirements

* Managing performance, training, and adherence to SSOPs

* Driving continuous improvement within the hygiene function

Key requirements:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing

* Experience as a Hygiene Manager, Team Leader, or similar leadership role

* Strong knowledge of hygiene systems, food safety, and GMP

* Confident leadership style with a hands-on approach
