Manufacturing Process Engineer

MERITUS are recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client in Broughton on an initial 12 month contract from their major aerospace site.

Please note:

the role does enable paid overtime at a premium rate of 25% Monday - Friday and 50% on weekends.

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineer to support serial production at the Broughton site. This role acts as a key interface between the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production
, ensuring robust, accurate work instructions derived from technical drawings and managed through SAP
.

• Define and document assembly processes
  , tooling specifications, and methods for implementing production modifications.
• Create and maintain manufacturing engineering dossiers
  , ensuring alignment with design documentation.
• Launch parts and assemblies into production and provide shopfloor support
  , including additional instructions during disruptions or breakdowns.
• Analyse production anomalies and deviation data, optimise processes, and raise concessions where required.
• Contribute to product definition, production, and verification methods, supporting industrial work-sharing activities.
• Define Design/Production breakdowns
  , manufacturing schedules, and interface specifications to ensure consistency across reference elements.
• Review design dossiers and raise technical queries as necessary.

• Strong knowledge of assembly systems
  , machining processes, and/or manual assembly methods.
• Proven experience in work preparation and industrialisation
  .
• Hands‑on experience using SAP for manufacturing work instructions.
• Proficient with MS Office and/or Google Workspace
  .
• Well‑organised, proactive, and collaborative, with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
