CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator - Worcester - Double Days

£32,000 - £39,600 per annum plus excellent benefits (8% pension, private medical etc)

The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

A position has arisen for a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator (Double Day Shift) within the machining department.

Job Description

• Programming, setting & operating Mazak 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres
• Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Understand Mazatrol CNC controls & be able to program/edit/improve existing & new parts.
• Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
• Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.

Essential Criteria for this CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator

• Have a solid understanding of setting & operating CNC controlled Machining Centres.
• Can demonstrate & have experience of safely using CNC controls.
• Have a can-do attitude.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Desirable Criteria

• Program from drawing Mazatrol CNC controls.
• Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC or similar.

The CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator role will be on double day-shift rotation.

Week 1. Mon to Fri 5.30am 1.30pm
Week 2. Mon to Thu 2pm 10.30pm Fri 2pm - 8pm
