CNC Miller​/Team Leader

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced CNC Miller / Team Leader.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-end machining environment, managing a small team while programming and machining complex components on advanced 3 5 axis CNC milling machines.

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader Package:

• £55,000 £ 65,000 per annum

• Day shifts: 8:00am 4:30pm (flexible start/finish available)

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader Requirements:

• Programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 axis CNC milling machines

• Offline programming using Hypermill (essential)

• Managing and leading a small team of CNC machinists

• Allocation of workload and daily job planning

• Supporting and mentoring team members on the shop floor

• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings

• Tooling selection, optimisation, and process improvement

• Driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement

• Working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment

• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader - Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller with leadership or supervisory responsibility

• Strong background in Hypermill programming

• Experience machining complex components on 3 5 axis machines

• Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style

• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
