Position: Assembly Operative (Temporary)
Location: Hucknall under Huthwaite

Assembly Operative required for our client based in Huthwaite, NG17

Assembly Operative Benefits:

Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm & Friday 07:30am - 3pm
Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly

Start date:

ASAP
Pay Rates: £13.23 per hour

Contract:

Temporary to Permanent based on performance and attendance

Location:

Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17

Assembly Operative Duties:

Building and assembling panel doors and mirrored doors for Wardrobes
Working on a bench area
Using hand tools
Quality checking of materials and finished products
Packing and taping items
Working with wood, panels and mirrors
Following instructions
Manual handling large items
General Housekeeping
Working on your own and as part of a team
Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
There is potential for this role to progress into a charge-hand in the future

Assembly Operative Criteria:

Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
Hard working, reliable and punctual

Experience of operating and using hand tools

Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
