SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Recruitment Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Permanent Semi-Skilled Control Panel Wirer in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company involved in the design and manufacture of electrical control panels. It's ideal for candidates with some wiring experience who are looking to grow their skills in a long-term role.

• Assist in the assembly and wiring of control panels
• Follow basic wiring diagrams and layout drawings
• Strip, crimp, and terminate cables to specification
• Mount components such as relays, terminal blocks, and switches
• Support skilled panel builders with layout and wiring
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Conduct basic electrical checks (e.g. continuity)

• Previous experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or similar
• Able to read basic electrical diagrams (training can be provided)
• Proficient in electrical systems and components
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble complex systems
• Experience with logic controllers and their programming is advantageous
• Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) is preferred
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely

• Level 2 Electrical qualification (or similar)
• Experience in a manufacturing or automation environment

• Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
• 39-hour working week
• Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates

• £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience, PAYE)
• Accrued holiday pay
