Location: Porth, South Wales
Salary: £33,000 including benefits
Hours: 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday) on a permanent early shift

Are you an experienced Folding & Gluing Operator ready to take the next step, or a proven Team Leader looking for a new challenge? This is an opportunity to join a long-established UK packaging manufacturer, known for producing high-quality cartons for some of the nation’s best-loved brands across the confectionery, beauty, and healthcare sectors.

You’ll lead a skilled production team within a fast-paced Folding & Gluing Department, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement across all operations.

• Lead and motivate a small, skilled team to achieve quality and output targets
• Oversee the daily setup, running, and maintenance of folding-gluing machinery
• Provide hands‑on operational support where required to maintain workflow
• Work collaboratively with planning, quality, and maintenance teams to optimise efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised working environment

• Proven experience operating or setting folding-gluing machines
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within packaging or manufacturing
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive, positive approach and commitment to continuous improvement

• 4‑day working week (Monday to Thursday) – 6am-3.30pm – a 36 hour working week
• Competitive pay and overtime rates, the first 4 hours of overtime are paid at time and a half, and double time after this
