Team Leader - Extrusion

Hours: 4 on, 4 off Days 6am–6pm

Salary: £18.19 per hour

Base: Site Based - Clover Nook Site, Somercotes, Alfreton

• Support production management to implement and execute business improvement plans
• Support Shift Managers and the wider team to deliver shift performance targets
• Responsible for highlighting and implementing performance improvements
• Help develop a motivated team
• Ensure key safety activities (risk assessments, safe working practice etc.) are carried out
• Actively seek out and address Health Safety & Environmental issues
• Ensure production targets are achieved
• Capture and log shift performance data
• Ensure all finished and semi-finished goods are in accordance with the works order and quality guidelines
• Monitoring equipment condition and performance
• Attend daily production review meetings

• Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility
• Experience of developing and coaching successful teams
• Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements
• Recent experience of a fast‑paced environment, working under pressure
• A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
• Excellent communication at all levels
