Sewing Machinist

Location: Ovenden

Talent-UK are recruiting a Sewing Machinist on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturer based in the Halifax area, the role is offered on a permanent basis working days with an early finish on Friday.

The Sewing Machinist will be working as part of a team, reporting to the Supervisor and responsible for sewing various products and ensuring production targets and deadlines are met.

Duties of the Sewing Machinist:

• Operation of Overlocking, Flatbed & twin Needle machines
• Working as part of a team and managing own workload
• Reporting directly to the Sewing Supervisor

Skills and experience of the Sewing Machinist:

• Must have worked with Overlocking, Flatbed & twin needle machines
• Must come from a sewing background
• Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines

Benefits for the Sewing Supervisor:

• Paying £12.50 per hour
• Working 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12.30pm Friday
• Overtime available
• Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days including public holidays
• Permanent opportunity
