Lantrak is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and inspire our team of Area Managers while managing your own client portfolio.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Area Managers to achieve sales targets and professional growth.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging your network to drive business growth.
  • Identify new opportunities for tipping solutions and materials management.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics, providing insights and strategic direction.
  • Engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide innovative solutions.
  • Represent Lantrak within your territory, becoming the go-to expert for regional insights.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage a high volume of interactions.
  • Collaborate with all business units and report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales management within the construction, earthmoving, or building industry.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of developing successful sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of materials (dirt) and wet plant hire (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

    Exceptional negotiation skills and a solutions-based outlook.
  • Initiative, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRMs and Microsoft Office products.
  • In-depth knowledge of the south-east suburbs.
  • Experience in territory management and logistics is highly favourable.
