Description- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Oversee payment runs and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support month-end processes, including accruals and reporting.
- Implement and improve accounts payable procedures and systems.
- Lead and develop the accounts payable team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of the property industry is advantageous.
