AboutThe Role
As a key member of our team, you’ll oversee daily operations to ensure the facility runs smoothly and customers enjoy a high‑quality experience. You’ll lead and support a team of casual staff, setting expectations, developing skills, and strengthening a culture of great service and teamwork.
You’ll take ownership of operational processes to improve efficiency and ensure our programs are delivered to an exceptional standard.
This role involves driving growth through new bookings and programs, as well as identifying new opportunities to engage the community.
Facility presentation is a top priority. You will ensure courts, equipment, and public areas are consistently clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
We’re looking for someone with initiative and creativity, someone who brings new ideas, strengthens customer experience, and contributes to the ongoing growth of our team and facility.
About You- Facilitating the day‑to‑day operations for the Arncliffe Youth Centre.
- Overseeing the daily operations of Arncliffe Youth Centre.
- Supervising the Centre patrons, contractors, volunteers and partners.
- Driving centre growth through new bookings, programs, services and events.
- Leading and supporting Casual staff.
- Working with and supporting the Youth team as required.
- Reviewing, updating and implementing operational processes.
- Performing a range of general administrative tasks.
- Responding to enquiries via phone, email and in person, providing timely information to patrons.
- Delivering impeccable customer experience.
- Taking the lead in responding to emergency situations and providing first aid when required.
- Tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to the role.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of customer service and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of administration, front‑of‑house operations, and facilities management experience.
- Proficiency in the use of software applications and technology, including audio‑visual equipment, booking systems, customer relationship management applications.
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Working with Children Check (NSW) and Criminal Reference Check.
- Current Driver’s Licence Class
C. - Flexibility to work across Leisure Centres operating hours ranging from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, able to work weekends and night shifts.
