Salary : £28,645.50 per annum

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful, fast-moving distribution business looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their operation on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a shift, lead people, and hit targets in a busy warehouse environment.

• Lead and motivate a warehouse team to deliver daily operational targets
• Be the main point of contact on shift for operatives and management
• Complete activities such as site walk-rounds and audits as required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with KPIs, SLAs and SOPs
• Manage performance, engagement and day-to-day people issues
• Support stock control, PI counts and quality checks
• Report shift performance, issues and incidents to senior management through regular face to face and team meetings
• Attend client calls and reviews

• Previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience in a warehouse or FMCG environment
• Strong people management skills and confidence handling performance issues and disciplinaries
• KPI-focused, organised, professional, reliable and proactive
• A clear communicator who leads from the front
