A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team at a well-maintained commercial facility in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their career within building services in a stable Monday-Friday position, with ongoing training and clear progression routes.
What you'll do:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
Support with both mechanical and electrical first-line maintenance, ensuring plant such as HVAC systems, lighting, pumps, motors, and associated equipment operate efficiently.
Undertake a variety of fabric maintenance duties including basic plumbing, painting & decorating, door and lock repairs, fixtures & fittings, and general site upkeep.
Respond to faults and breakdowns, carrying out initial diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
Accurately update job records, complete reports, and assist in improving maintenance procedures.
Work closely with the wider engineering team, contractors, and site stakeholders to maintain high standards across the facility. What you'll bring:
Previous experience within building services or commercial facilities maintenance.
A practical, hands-on approach with good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to carry out a range of general building fabric repairs.
